Official rules
Thankswinning runs November 1–30, 2026. Every mahjong at Bird Bam open play counts toward one club total, and that total sets the ticket price for our Holiday Party.
How it works
We count every mahjong at open play all month. The higher the club total, the lower the party price. Mahj enough and the party is free.

Who gets the club price
- Attend at least 1 Bird Bam open play between November 1 and 30.
- Any open play counts: paid, member, or a free pass from Hallowin or Guided Play.
- Anyone who didn't play in November pays full price.
- The final price is set after the last open play on November 30.
Bonus prizes for top mahjers
The three players with the most mahjongs in November win Bird Bam shop gift certificates.

- Ties go to the player who attended more November open plays.
How mahjongs count
- Only mahjongs at Bird Bam open play sessions in November count.
- Mahjongs are recorded the same way as in our past contests. Bird Bam's records are final.
- Bonus sessions and special days (like double-mahjong days) count too. We'll announce them as they happen.
The Holiday Party
Saturday, December 12, 6–10:30 PM at Bird Bam: mahjong, a potluck, and a gift exchange.
- Spots are limited. Members who played in November register first, then other November players, then everyone else.
- Reserve your spot now and pay later. You'll pay the final club price in December, or nothing if the party is free.
- Confirm or cancel by Saturday, December 5. Unconfirmed spots go to the waitlist.
- If the party is free and you can't come, you get a free open play in December instead.
- Potluck and gift exchange details TBA.
Fine print
- Open to players 18+. Void where prohibited.
- This is a skill-based contest. Winners are decided by total mahjongs recorded, not by a drawing.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Bird Bam may update these rules. Any changes will be posted on this page.
